not really caring
what consequence brings

God has no disdain
we are his children
He heals our pain
So why does He do it?
there’s nothing to gain
it’s all out of love

my eyes are opened
because of diagnosis
and not just because
of my doctors prognosis
this is what’s starting
me on my kenosis
building upon my faith
No, this isn’t self hypnosis
it’s building upon my faith
we can’t even call it
a case of stenosis
i’m building upon my faith
God is good to me
all of the time
so i build upon my faith
He carries me on
this journey of mine
while i build upon my faith
so please don’t think
of life as a game
it’s a serious thing
and no one’s to blame
so act like you know
from whence you came
and build upon your faith!
