the things that we trust in
are sometimes disgusting
but life goes on and on
you think that you’re clever
so every endeavor
you treat like
it’s not your own
ever blaming and pointing
fingers and such
never caring about people’s
feelings as much
just long as you are
the one with the crutch
we all know
the world turns for you
now its September
you try to remember
the days of you
doing good
at your discretion
you started a session
to see if anyone could
no matter how much
you claim “in God we trust”
if you don’t know Him
that saying’s a bust
getting down on your knees
every night is a must
don’t act like the
world turns for you
while having discussions
your having concussions
from thinking so hard
with your brain
always wanting to goad
and put yourself first
so eventually
you go insane
now it’s an issue
so grab you a tissue
cause now you’re
ready to cry
finally get down
on your knees to pray
only because you
are ready to die
if you really believe
the words “in God we trust”
keeping the faith
would never get rust
be true to all people
and try to be just
the world doesn’t
turn just for you!
