I reconnected with my church this week. We had Vacation Bible School. I really love my church, Mt. Sinai United Christian Church in Staten Island because of the pastor, Bishop Dr. Victor Brown. He is truly a man of God. I’ve learned so much in my short time here. (almost 2 years) I say reconnected for since I’ve been living in Queens I seldom take the almost 3 hour ride Sunday mornings to get there. That’s really no excuse so I will make it there from now on. Even though I missed 2 of the 4 days of Bible School, there was still much to learn. Also, congregating with all of God’s people was amazing as usual. Seeing familiar faces and even some new ones is always nice. I realized how much I miss church. Especially with my diagnosis, being in God’s house really helps. As far as I’m concerned, He has healed me a long time ago. As my point man, I know I’m in the best hands! Also, He has put someone that I feel will be a great help to me writing my book in the near future. All in all, even though it rained for our barbecue, everything was great! Peace and blessings!
