there you sit across from me-looking with eyes so thoughtfully-even though you only see-what you really want from me-we’re in a land that is to me-nothing that it appears to be-the president is out of touch-for common folk he has no trust-we are all ostensibly free-but that’s not how it ought to be-for freedom is a joyful thing-it gives hope and makes you sing-so do not fear what “chump” brings-he must answer the church bell ring-the time will come and it won’t be odd-when “chump” realizes the glory is God’s-so now when you sit across from me-looking with eyes so thoughtfully-believe in Him and you will see-what it really means to be free!
