Unbending Intent!

A great credo! You see, when facing the inevitably of the end of life, there are two choices that avail themselves to myself and others with similar so-called “incurable diseases.” I’ve stated this before in a previous blog. Morgan Freeman said it best in the movie “Shawshank Redemption.” “You either get busy living or get busy dying.” “Unbending intent” is how I survive each and every day without giving into the despair of being diagnosed with cancer. With “unbending intent” I hold my faith that God has healed me. My life and how I live it is stripped down to single moments of “unbending intent”. Each decision made is taken as my last battle on earth, that way everything I do is done with precision and finality. No more time for the bullshit of everyday life. When life is enjoyed no matter what it throws at you, your countenance is lightened. I intend  to be around for a while . But only God knows… Be that as it may, life continues. Recognizing the preciousness of life is paramount to being happy. I am happy. We all know how the saying goes… “if I only knew then what I know now!” For me, it took a life threatening disease to break my chains of mediocrity. With Jesus as my pilot through the storms of life, I am sure of a safe landing! When happiness abounds each day your life seems longer. Everyone has a choice in life. No matter the circumstances, always choose happiness. You won’t go wrong! Peace and blessings!
