Aftermath!

Tomorrow is Feb. 15… two weeks since my close call. Besides a little soreness in my right knee, I am okay. Am back riding again despite the cold weather. My oncologist suggested that I have an x-ray taken just to be on the safe side. Looking back at that incident, I realize now, that could’ve gone real bad! People as a whole take life for granted. We all do! Since my diagnosis I’ve learned not to do that. Can’t afford to. I cannot and will not! My 63rd birthday is Feb. 24. I am now in my third year of being diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. My journey is far from over. I haven’t been back on the courts yet but I will do that by next week. God’s unchanging hands carry me! I have no fear! There are labels upon me now that do not apply! I am classified as 100% disabled! My faith makes me not adhere to that. No matter the diagnosis, as far as all concerned I am healed! Everything is possible with a little faith. Believe me. It works! Peace and blessings!
