Well, Feb. 16 makes 15 days since my little mishap on my bike. My knee’s still a little sore but mainly I feel good. So now I go to play ball back at the Lost Battalion. You know, it’s kind of funny cause sometimes I even amaze myself. While just shooting around I noticed that I’d hit 12 jump shots in a row! Not bragging but damn I can still shoot after all these years. But it’s not as though I haven’t been playing. When I turned 50 I really started playing ball hard! Like one on one full court hard. My nephew Keme and I would play each other full court at full speed. And he is 25 years my junior! I slowed down playing ball with my diagnosis back in 2015. But I am almost back to where I was physically. All in all, I can only thank God for giving me the strength to keep going. I am able to do these things at my age because of God in me. My 63rd Birthday is on Saturday. My mind will not let that number affect my game. I will keep my positive outlook of life. And as pertaining to my diagnosis? Ha! God has already taken care of that! Peace and blessings!
