I’m sitting here in Kings Park on Jamaica Av thinking that maybe this time Spring is finally here to stay! (Still wearing long sleeves just in case) Anyway, I started to ride to Manhattan but changed my mind and decided to stay local. Right now I’m looking around and experiencing the magnificence of God! The sun on the back of my neck. The smell of flowers and freshly cut grass wafting to and fro around my nose. The trees blooming. You can hear joy and laughter as children play. Insects are buzzing by. To be able to experience these things may not seem important to people with clean bills of health but to people like us (diagnosed with cancer) these little things are extremely important. Each and every new season, each and every new day is a beautiful blessing for people living with cancer. I’m sitting here with tears welling up now because life is so very beautiful! I am humbled by life! My thankfulness to God has no bounds! It seems to me now that I will see another summer! Thank you Jesus! Peace and blessings!
