This is just another average Fathers Day for just about every average father except me! I’m not saying that I’m special in any way. It’s just that God has given me the time to witness my third Father’s Day since my diagnosis. Although not a breakthrough for most I recognize how meaningful it is just to be able to wake up in the morning. To me it seems like I have an advantage, that is, my world view now! I’m grateful in every endeavor I partake in. Although I haven’t been talking about my bike riding, I just realized something.I’ve been riding an average of 20 miles a day for the past week. Today I did 30! I don’t take this for granted though. It’s just that to me, it’s just natural for me to ride. I mentioned this my good friend Wayne. His response was “I do not believe you have cancer!” I responded, “You’re right, I don’t have cancer, I’m just diagnosed with it!” I am a living, walking testimony. God is awesome! I’ve been down in the Village 6 days in a row now. All on my fix! Oh and just a personal note for the person that found my bike computer. I appreciate you putting my computer where I could easily see it. I didn’t appreciate the fact that you opened it up and absconded with the battery! Well that’s New York City for you! Peace and blessings!
