Each Day Is New!

NY State Police Officer A. Richie(r) and Officer Rodriguez(l)

To be able to recognize each and every day as a new day is a blessing and should not be taken for granted! My perception of this thing we call life has changed! Not only changed but in all actuality, I now know how precious life really is! This is no ordinary feat for once accomplished, you  can’t go back. It’s like reaching a plateau in life where only beauty exists! My life is beautiful. I see beauty wherever I look. No matter whatever, everything is beautiful. My faith and belief in the Almighty has altered my world view. I now know faith. I now know beauty. I now know love! These things may seem somewhat simple to the average Joe, but vitally important to people balancing on the edge of infinity! What happened to me? I’m changing! I’m changed! see life different! The way I perceive is altered! My life is finally awake! Thank you Jesus! I met a couple of NY State Police Officers at Kennedy Airport the other day. While waiting for my friend Leo (retired NYC Firefighter 9/11) I started a conversation about my life and how I’m living now. I have a lot of respect for those officers and the job they have! I even took pictures with them. Before my diagnosis, I would’ve not had anything to say or talk about to those men. I realize the new view of life has shown me how to accept life and live life!  Peace and blessings!
