Really… I Am NOT Special!

My life is definitely different now. The things that I do are done because I am fighting cancer. My fight is ongoing and non stop. First of all, everyone has fear of cancer. It’s something that is dreaded by all. I am no exception. No one imagines what life is like with cancer. But now I am walking the path! This is a major difference from knowing a path. I now no longer have fear of cancer. My path now is one of faith, beauty and love! In being diagnosed with cancer, for all practical purposes I’ve literally been set free! The encumbrances of everyday life are basically non-existent. I am at peace. My faith in God has girded and strengthened me! This is why I’m able to play basketball everyday. This is why I can ride my bike 40 miles a day. This is why I blog. My blog started as therapy for me to cope. Now it’s turning into a type of therapy for others. If I can empower people diagnosed with cancer to follow my lead that would be a blessing! No matter your diagnosis, as long as there’s breath in your body, you can heal! If I can do it, so can you! Keep faith in God and get up and exercise! FIGHT! Peace and blessings!
