This terminology is used in just about every sport in the world. It refers to a place where you will get the optimum and best results no matter what. Whether it’s on the basketball court or baseball bat or hockey stick or even a soccer ball, there’s always a “sweet spot”. There is also a “sweet spot” in life. That’s the spot where we all need to be. This is the spot when you have ultimate faith in the Almighty! That no matter whatever circumstances are surrounding you at a particular point and time in your life , your faith will not waiver or diminish. This is where I live now! I am in the sweet spot of my life. Stage IV lung cancer does not decide nor define my life! My faith is rock solid! I intend to live whatever life I have left without fear and worry about this diagnosis. For all intents and purposes, God has already healed me of this malady. So I always have a smile on my face. Sometimes I feel that if it wasn’t for cancer, I would’ve just existed and not really lived life! I am happy and content each and every single day just because I have another. Happiness abounds in life for me! So each of us needs to find our own “sweet spot”! You’ll be better off in the long run! Peace and blessings!
