This happened last Friday but I didn’t write anything about it. As you all know, I love bike riding. This was the one thing I missed most when I was in Louisiana. So, for a little over 2 months I didn’t ride. Friday I decided to get back on the horse so to speak. Wow! What a BIG mistake! All in all I did almost 35 miles. Really this is nothing for me for I have gotten used to doing 30, 40 and sometimes even 50 miles 2 or 3 times a week. But I didn’t take into consideration my age! I am almost 65. I actually was thinking that I could pick up where I left off and do extensive riding. Wrong! My whole body was so sore that on my ride home I actually walked most of the way! I am 8.5 miles from the ferry! That bone seat looks all nice and what have you, but DAMN… my ass was on FIRE! Moral of this story… remember your body is older than your brain would have you believe! Peace and blessings!
Remember Your Age!
