morning’s light
from folds of darkness every night
to cold morning dew of early light
each night my mind regards a fright
and that’s if i see next morning’s light
but i don’t worry although i might
i’ve always known i’m in a fight
i keep in faith that is my right
so i can see next morning’s light
cancer of today is such a blight
it takes you down from health and heights
keep being strong and God in your sights
so you too can see next morning’s light
