my cancer diary(cont)

So now, here I am, sixty years old and for the first time in my life, diagnosed with a chronic illness! But that’s not the half of it! At the same time this is happening, my son and I are being evicted! Wow! I thought, “what else can go wrong?!” Well, the what else was that my son and I had to separate for a few months! It was hard but we got over it! The day of the eviction I got a number from Tenant Landlord Court for APS(Adult Protective Services)which I didn’t know existed! My son and I were literally putting our belongings in storage while I was trying to contact them. I was out of breath when someone finally answered(after 90 minutes on hold) I don’t remember her name but I explained my situation and she told me to stop moving and go back to your apartment and wait for the Marshall. I did what she asked and when the Marshall arrived with my landlord, the Marshall explained to me that DPS is taking on my case and I don’t have to move! Wow! Thank God! I will continue my diary next week! Peace and blessings!
