my path is not an easy one
some nights i cry me to sleep
but there’s power in my tears
for they lead to knowledge
hidden from the light
my heartbeat quickening
with presumed next breath
the feeling of fear at times
so i hope God forgives me
but i am a fallible idiot
although not ungrateful
i search for balance
while traveling my path alone
it’s just the image i portray
for even though i’m lonely
i’m NEVER alone!
