I, Cancer!

(a cancer perspective)

This week was beautiful for bike riding. I put an emphasis on seeing different things around the city. So I rode to Harlem just to see the exhibit of the Statue of Liberty laying down on the grass. Thats at 120th St and Morningside Av! From there I rode cross town to the East side to see my son who lives on 104th St and 2nd Av. After that I took 5th Av all the way downtown to Washington Square Park. I stopped at the Guggenheim for a pic! All together I did about 32 miles! It’s very important for we who are diagnosed with cancer to stay active. We are not this disease! We are mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers! We are grandparents! We are children! We are aunts and uncles! We are PEOPLE! We are NOT contagious! We are all warriors living with a deadly disease! So stay strong and keep in mind that the battle is ongoing! Each day, each breath is a blessing! Enjoy the beauty that surrounds you no matter what! Remember… you can accept a diagnosis of cancer in 2 ways! As a death sentence or as a beautiful gift that rises your consciousness!

Peace and blessings!
