It’s been a quiet week. What I’ve realized since the weather has changed is that most drivers in Newark don’t have any respect or even knowledge of how to share the roads with bicycles! I mean… damn! It’s crazy dealing with drivers that think every bike rider should be on the sidewalk! When I ride in NYC, I’ve NEVER heard anyone shouting out to “get on the sidewalk!” But I see that this is completely ordinary to hear that out here! So I am extremely careful riding. The good thing about where I live is that I am not but a few miles from NJ Penn Station! So I get the first train smoking out of Jersey to NYC! Although I am ready to ride today I can’t. I have oral surgery today and it’s not a good idea to ride after that! But I have hope for this weekend. It’s supposed to be in the mid to upper 80’s! My type of weather! Anyway, my mindset is clear! My diagnosis doesn’t define me! I define me! For all intents and purposes, my Creator has already taken care of it! If you believe it, you can achieve it! I have! So can you!
