i exist through the days
ignoring life’s embrace
indifferent to my own worth
living like there’s no race
a common tale i share
in apathy i drown
blinded by my own pursuits
i let life just go around
yet change must come my way
to reshape how i live
fill my heart with daily joy
from this world, receive and give
for hatred fills the air
and money rules the fate
but if i don’t awaken soon
i’ll miss life’s precious date
i cherish every moment
before it’s all too late
to savor nature’s beauty
before i meet my fate!
