One Day or Day One?

One day, they say,
The world will change, the pain will fade,
All dreams will find their way,
And the storms inside will settle down
But One Day is just a distant star,
A hope forever hanging far,
A whisper that drifts upon the wind.
A promise left behind, not quite within.

Day One, though, is now…
A sunrise breaking through the night,
A step into the unknown light,
A choice to move, to rise, to start,
To carry forward the heavy heart.
Day One is the soil beneath my feet,
The breath that urges me to meet
The challenge, the chance, the fragile dawn.
A path where fear and courage bond.

One Day, a hope we toss ahead.
But Day One always begins the thread,
Of change, of truth, of what can be
A life lived fully, wild and free.
So I’ll embrace this day, right here, right now,
For Day One will lead me, somewhere, somehow
To gather One Day where dreams are won,
But the journey starts always
in turn with Day One.

With faith in God, I take each step,
Trusting His hand in every breath.
For Day One’s grace is heaven-sent,
A gift where hope and strength are lent.
His love will guide me through the night,
And lead me to that day so bright
Where One Day, in His perfect time,
I’ll see His promise, pure and divine!

Peace and blessings!
