So many call themselves \u201clucky\u201d. But in actuality what we really are is \u201cblessed\u201d. Luck is something that comes in gambling. A few times this week I sat inside the lobby of a couple of other MSK facilities. As I sat there I happened to pay attention to some of the other patients walking in and out. I never noticed before but so many seemed to be in pain. Seeing and paying attention to this made me recognize how blessed I really am! My perception is forever changed! Tears of thankfulness rolling down my face I thanked God for my precious, present life! Life is impersonal so I live mine with impeccability. I take no joy in being diagnosed with cancer and this is where my paradox begins. How would my life be now if I wasn\u2019t? Wow! I now experience peace, joy and happiness each and every second of my life. And it took me by surprise that my quality of life has actually improved! Hey&#8230; God really does work in mysterious ways!
