{"id":1223,"date":"2019-04-29T14:33:30","date_gmt":"2019-04-29T18:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/walkingdeadman.com\/?p=1223"},"modified":"2019-04-30T08:41:33","modified_gmt":"2019-04-30T12:41:33","slug":"1400","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingdeadman.com\/index.php\/2019\/04\/29\/1400\/","title":{"rendered":"1400!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am truly blessed! 1400 days ago I received the news from my primary care physician to start getting my affairs in order! Although he didn\u2019t say the words exactly, I know how to read between the lines. Basically he inferred that my chances of seeing Labor Day of 2015 were slim to none! This was the end of June that year. My God is a mighty God! At first I was despondent and defeated. But as I walked away from his office I started to think about who really had the last word. I thought about the power of Jesus and what He did for us. By the time I got home I felt better but still had a difficult path ahead. Those eight months of chemo were horrific but with faith in the Almighty I persevered. As more time passed I got stronger and stronger! My faith grew. I now know that no weapon formed against me shall prosper! April is a sad time of year for my family. Both my mother and brother passed away this month in 1988 and 2010 respectively. God girds our souls! We are a close knit family. I am stronger now than ever before in my life! As far as my diagnosis goes&#8230; I know that I am healed! My faith does not waiver!
