wow\u2026 this is amazing to me! eight years ago today! exactly eight years ago today i was definitively handed my so called death sentence!\u201d my pc doctor looks at me\u2026 and with a sad voice says that line that everyone dreads hearing\u2026 \u201cyou are diagnosed with cancer!\u201d and not just any cancer\u2026 oh, no no no\u2026 you are diagnosed with stage FOUR cancer! bruh\u2026 let me tell ya something\u2026 if THIS ain\u2019t a life changer, nothing is! amazing as it is, there is no doubt in my mind that i wouldn\u2019t survive! i don\u2019t know how or why, but i do! so my journey through this valley continues! i say continues because even though i have had no treatment for the stage four lung cancer since september of 2019, they (the doctors!) said that since cancer is incurable, i still am diagnosed with it! anyway, not only that but in april of 2020, i was diagnosed with my second cancer\u2026 mantle cell lymphoma! damn\u2026 just when you thought you\u2019re out, it pulls you right back in! hahaha lol! now this journey has not been an easy one by no means! and i never expected to have valleys within valleys!wow! but\u2026 one factor that has been constant throughout my travels is that my faith and belief in the Almighty has never wavered! my story is far from over! don\u2019t ask me how i know it, i just do! and i also know that my story will help others! show other people who are diagnosed with cancer that you can make a decision! as morgan freeman said in the shawshank redemption\u2026\u201dget busy living or get busy dying!\u201d i\u2019ve chosen the former!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
