For 10 long years, I\u2019ve been in a fight,
You look at me, yet miss my plight.
I battle each day with a warrior\u2019s might,
Rising each morning to greet the light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With cancer, my life I\u2019ve rearranged,
No acceptance of it at close range.
I\u2019ve learned to grow, to not shortchange,
And embrace the joy in every exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I once delayed to face my fate,
Caught in the web of time\u2019s debate.
But now I live, no dreams abate,
For life\u2019s too precious to hesitate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I keep my belief and faith in God,
His love is real and no fa\u00e7ade.
What He does, though paths seem flawed,
I trust in His plan through trials that awed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
