I am blessed to be fast approaching 70, a milestone I once thought impossible. Ten years have passed since my cancer diagnosis, gone in the blink of an eye. Yet my war continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a brief moment, I tasted victory, the day I rang the bell at my final treatment for stage 4 lung cancer. Six months of reprieve. That was all. Then\u2014WHAM\u2014another diagnosis, completely unrelated. Another battle. Another war. Murphy\u2019s Law, I suppose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Day by day, minute by minute, I fight. But in this battle, I have found unexpected gifts. The very things I once took for granted have become my greatest blessings. Weather permitting, I am outside every morning, riding 20 miles just to witness the sunrise. That ride has become a euphoric journey through nature, a time of peace and renewal. Each breath I take is a testament to life, a reminder of how precious this existence truly is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With unyielding resolve, I embrace my fate. My faith, my belief that I am already healed, is the air I breathe. I am not special, every person diagnosed with cancer can find this strength within themselves. Even if it begins as just a shift in mindset, that alone can be transformative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So please remember this; as long as you have breath in your body, you have the power to change your story. Have faith. Believe in your healing.
