I haven’t posted since Feb. 20 so first and foremost on my mind is to thank everyone for their most sincere birthday wishes. Even though it was my 63rd, I didn’t do anything special for that day. A few days later I found myself in Ajax Park working out, you know, stretching, shooting around, the usual. While taking jump shots (on the 3rd day in a row at the park) I had a bout of nostalgia. I have been taking jump shots in Ajax Park for over 50 years! I immediately took a knee and thanked God for keeping me all this time. So even though I am diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer, God enables me to do the opposite of my so named malady. I guess this is my testimony, this is what I have to share! My faith in God is why I am still here. Why I am able to ride throughout the city on my bike. Why I am able to play basketball (some will say I still can’t play). Why I can keep a smile on my face and happiness in my heart! No matter the situation or circumstance, my faith will not waver. My life depends upon it!
