\"\"<\/a>I could not let this day pass without a good ride. This picture was taken for me by a guy I just met named Paul. He and his parents were sitting next to me at the fountain in Central Park. At the time of this picture I\u2019ve already done 25 miles. And I still have to get home! So I\u2019m talking about at least another 15 to 20 miles. I started out to ride straight to the city but then I remembered one of my oldest friends called to let me know that his father passed away this morning. Jonas was the first one to dunk on me back in the day. Off a rebound and with two hands too! Wow! Now I\u2019d be surprised if he even got near the backboard. My condolences to your family Jonas. May God give you peace. So I started out to the city because I wanted to check out the patient recreation facility at the main hospital on 68th and York Av. (Memorial Sloane Kettering) When I was leaving, I happened to see a young lady coming out of the hospital. I asked her if she worked there but she said no. She happened to be seeing about her 5 year old daughter that was just diagnosed with a rare form of stage IV cancer. I talked with her and even read her one of my poems to help her feel better. Her name is Victoria and I promised to pray for her and her daughter. I told her that no matter\u00a0what\u00a0<\/em>the doctors say, God has the cure! Keep the faith! So right now I\u2019m still in Central Park deciding whether to ride home or take the subway. Even though I\u2019m not home yet, I am adding two screenshots to show my distance. Peace and blessings! P.S. the straight line in Queens to Manhattan is when I was on the subway. Usually, I only ride subway one way.
