Last Friday was a breath of fresh air for everyone! Personally, I thought it was the weather breakthrough we’ve been looking for… well wishful thinking! I actually wore short sleeves for the first time this year. All in all I’m not one to complain. It was a nice prelude to summer (my mind is\u00a0already\u00a0<\/em>anticipating summer!). Now back to my winter gear. I just thank God for enabling me\u00a0not\u00a0<\/em>to be\u00a0disabled!\u00a0<\/em>If you know what I mean, okay… if you don’t, try to understand that faith\u00a0does\u00a0<\/em>move mountains! The only way I’m able to do what I do is because of my\u00a0faith!\u00a0<\/em>I seriously doubt I’d still be here if not for faith. My path is starting to go in different directions now. I just volunteered at the hospital. I feel that sharing\u00a0 how I live life diagnosed with cancer may help not only myself, but give someone down the line encouragement and maybe even peace. I never thought for one minute that my life would be as peaceful as it is now! Each and every person handles cancer differently. I’ve chosen to live whatever life I have left in me\u00a0impeccably!\u00a0<\/em>Cancer patients have a simple choice to make… “get busy living or get busy dying!”<\/em> Simple as that! I could have curled up into a ball and started to lament about my condition, but I didn’t. Most definitely each and every day I realize that I’m battling for my life. Recognizing the fact that each and\u00a0every\u00a0<\/em>act I engage myself in could be my last battle on earth, makes my approach to any and\u00a0everything<\/em> impeccable. We have a choice in life. Not just cancer patients, but we\u00a0all\u00a0<\/em>do. We can choose to be happy! We can choose to take each and every day for what it is. A gift. Don’t take life for granted. Enjoy the sunrise each day as if it were your last. Stop and really smell the flowers. Listen to the birds, watch them in flight! There is so much beauty in this world. Open Your Eyes! Smell The Grass! Peace and blessings!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
