As the saying goes, “time flies when you’re having fun” certainly rings true for me now. My blog site reminded me it’s time to renew my yearly fee. Wow… I hadn’t realized it’s been a year since I started blogging (thanks Corey!). God has been so very good to me. I’m at the point in my life whereas my diagnosis doesn’t effect me anymore. It’s not that I don’t care about my situation mind you, cancer is\u00a0no<\/em> joke! In all seriousness it could actually drive you crazy if you let it. It’s just that my faith has allowed me to live somewhat normally (whatever that is!) during my journey. I’m living my life like I’m\u00a0supposed\u00a0to in this situation,\u00a0impeccably!<\/em> That’s all I can do! My faith in God has enabled me to live life like I’ve\u00a0never<\/em>\u00a0 lived it before! In the beginning it was hard for me. Being an athlete most of my life I didn’t ever want to hear the word\u00a0cancer<\/em> and my name in the same\u00a0paragraph<\/em> let alone, a sentence!? But it is what it is. I’m living and loving my life diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. It doesn’t bother me, don’t let it bother you. I’m in the\u00a0best\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/strong>of hands,\u00a0His!\u00a0<\/em>Peace and blessings!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
