{"id":877,"date":"2018-09-07T11:48:48","date_gmt":"2018-09-07T15:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/walkingdeadman.com\/?p=877"},"modified":"2018-09-07T11:48:48","modified_gmt":"2018-09-07T15:48:48","slug":"dont-take-life-for-granted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/walkingdeadman.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/07\/dont-take-life-for-granted\/","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t Take Life For Granted!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>That\u2019s a simple phrase. \u201cDon\u2019t take life for granted!\u201d Hey, but as we all know \u201cthat\u2019s easier said than done!\u201d Everybody has used those terms \u00a0from time to time during the course of their lives. Myself included. But now I just don\u2019t\u00a0<em>say\u00a0<\/em>those phrases, I actually\u00a0<em>mean\u00a0<\/em>those grammatical constructions! Each and every day of our lives decisions are proffered. We take for granted that these decisions are just mundane everyday occurrences. We fail to recognize the possibility that any decision made could become the last! The simple trip to the store for some milk. Walking your dog. That early morning jog. The bike ride to your treatment for cancer! We all take these for granted! Why do we as human beings think that we are immortal? In the course of my post-cancer life, I\u2019ve developed a skill to <em>not\u00a0<\/em>take life for granted anymore! Throughout my day every little thing I do I\u2019m thankful to God for protection! Without question, I always thank Him no matter whatever I do or go! Don\u2019t get in the habit of taking life for granted. Life is a special gift that should be cared for! We have a choice in how we each live. Don\u2019t take it for granted that tomorrow is guaranteed!
