This is not just a random number. It\u2019s the number of days since I was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer! Wow! Isn\u2019t God great? I am not bragging about a paltry 1173 days compared to the 23,212 days since my birth but the former definitely outweighs the latter in quality. What this means to me is that it took 22,039 days before I understood and\u00a0realized how to\u00a0live life!<\/em> How can a person claim to learn so much about life in less than 1200 days? Easily… just get a diagnosis such as mine and you\u2019ll see! I\u2019m not saying that I had no fun in my days prior to my diagnosis, on the contrary, there was tons of fun and good times. It\u2019s just that now my circumstances don\u2019t define my happiness. I am happy\u00a0continually\u00a0<\/em>now! Never have I been so content in my life. My relationship with Jesus gets stronger each day. My life is beautiful. I perceive the beauty of this world, in this world! How ironic is this?
