Death of a Bicycle!

I was so excited about getting my new bike that I have to pay tribute to the old one. On May 5, 2017 after a 21 year hiatus from riding, my “Phoenix” arrived! I referred to it as my Phoenix for this is the bike that helped me resurrect my life of bike riding. Although it is only a couple of days to 2 years old, I had to put it to rest. That bike had a little over 4000 miles on it. As a matter of fact, my last ride on that bike was 49.5 miles! On my way home it started clicking and making all kinds of noises. I took it to the bike shop and afterwards the repairman said this bike is a done deal! Wow! I have a lot of memories with that bike! A few falls, a few flats and some great pics! That’s the machine that helped me get some normalcy back in my life. It will be missed. Peace and blessings!
