in the quiet of my soul, a war unfolds,
mind and body, two stories told.
my mind whispers with a fervent plea,
but my body hums a melody.
“ignore the mind,” my body cries,
“feel the truth beneath the skies.
in every ache, in every sigh,
lies the wisdom you cannot deny.”
my mind weaves dreams, both wild and vast,
paints futures shaped by shadows past.
it twists the truth, it often lies,
cast doubts and fears in dark disguise.
“who should i listen to?” i muse,
in this silence, whom to choose?
the path diverges, left and right,
lost in the maze of day and night.
my body speaks in steady tone,
“trust the truth you’ve always known.
in each heartbeat, in each breath,
you know that Jesus conquers death.”
so i walk the path that bridges two,
mind and body, old and new.
with every step, i seek the way,
where mind’s fears and body’s truths sway.
i find the balance, gentle, pure,
in this dance, i feel secure.
for in the blend of thought and feel,
lies the harmony, the truest zeal.
thus i wander through this life,
beyond the chaos, past the strife.
with a heart that listens deep and wise,
to body’s truths and mind’s skies.
peace and blessings!
